Salah is an important pillar of our Islamic faith and it’s an obligation that must be practiced. As a school that aims to strengthen faith in each young Muslim that we teach, we have developed and implemented a Salah program that will guide our students to the practice. Our K-3 students participate in a Salah program which supports them in memorizing portions of the scripture for the prayer, supplications and hymns of the prayer, as well as correct postures and gestures. The Grades 4-8 students’ Salah Program consists of a brief reminder to students on Islamic values and principals.
