We are pleased to announce that we will have an Art Competition for each grade (in-school students only) that will be held on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024. For many, art is meant to instill a myriad of emotions in the beholder, such as beauty, joy, awe, surprise, sadness or even anger. Expression through Art is an opportunity for young minds to showcase their artistic abilities and creativity.

Details of the Art Competition are shared below:

Location: Al-Ameen Elementary School (online and in-school students are welcome to participate, however, students must be on school premises in order to partake in the competition)

Time: TBA; each grade will have different times/periods to their competition

Drawing surface: Regular sized white paper, provided by the school

Materials allowed: Pencil crayons, wax crayons, markers, pastels, pencil, eraser, sharpener, ruler. These materials will be at the students’ desks or students may bring their own art supplies.

Materials NOT ALLOWED: Any kind of wet paints or wet glitter/glues, due to drying-time restrictions.

Cost: Free
