Curriculum

According to the Fraser Institute, Al Ameen Elementary School ranked 1st out of 3041 schools, outranking all public schools in Ontario. We are regulated by the Ontario Ministry of Education and exceed their standards. Our alumni are accepted into IB, AP and Sci-tech programs. Using Ministry approved resources, our teachers deliver and assess the Ontario curriculum while prioritizing students’ individual needs. Our educators are experienced when it comes to the advancement and transmission of knowledge while also teaching Islamic values and norms along the way.

Our students are exposed to an array of subjects and their natural curiosity is encouraged to help them gain knowledge of the world and the truth of things. Preparation for later critical thinking is facilitated by emphasizing order and by providing a predictable and consistent learning environment.
